Heidelberg Materials has been supplying Australia’s construction materials for more than 70 years.

We have more than 3,600 employees across 300 sites, with an extensive production and logistics network across the nation.

We think global and act local. We benefit from global research and development, enhanced by national collaboration, to offer a comprehensive range of high-quality concrete, aggregates, road base, sand and asphalt products.

We also produce a wide range of sustainable and recycled construction materials for civil construction and infrastructure projects.

A long and proud history

Our remarkable journey began in 1949 with two visionary young men, Sir Tristan Antico and Ken Conley. With a modest investment of just 500 pounds and some basic building equipment, they laid the foundation for what would become Pioneer Concrete. From these humble beginnings, we have grown and evolved into one of Australia's leading suppliers of heavy construction materials.
