- A $750 million pipeline stretching seventy kilometres from the Sugarloaf Reservoir in Melbourne to the GoulburnRiver near Yea.
- It is critical to Melbourne’s water supply and the largest increase of water to the city since the Thomson Reservoir in 1984.
- Between October 2008 and November 2009, 300,000 tonnes of aggregate materials were supplied from Hanson’s Wollert quarry for the project.
- This was primarily coarse dust, with small volumes of Class 2 aggregates and spalls.
