- $12.4 million project feauturing a 220-metre overpass across the Warringah Freeway in North Sydney.
- Construction took place between August 2008-2009, with Hanson supplying 3,000 cubic metres of high-strength RTA ready mix concrete.
-
To comply with the RTA’s stringent requirements, each driver had to arrive in five minute intervals, in the allocated time-slot of 7.00am to 9.30am and take a maximum time of forty-five minutes from the first batch through until the final discharge.
-
The overpass now provides a much-needed transport solution for thousands of pedestrians and cyclists travelling between NeutralBay, Crows Nest and North Sydney.
